Im here but Im not. I love but I dont. I care but I reject. I dont get much but I do get myself for the most part. Thats ok I guess but its like there is more to me than that which is visible to the world. I am an individual, so different in theory and logic. Yet I allow myself to restrict my mind to flow with the rest of society's perceptions which bleaches out the essence of my soul. Most people have a hard time realizing whats evident but only if they look hard enough can they see what really matters. Once that stage is breached a higher degree of greatfuliness will developed. I still love you im waiting at the 50 yard line, when you make it here we can touch down together.

You sound a lot like Walt Whitman. Allow me to quote an excerpt from his epic poem, "Song of Myself" (from http://www.daypoems.net/
plainpoems/1900.html).
The past and present wilt--I have fill'd them, emptied them.
And proceed to fill my next fold of the future.
Listener up there! what have you to confide to me?
Look in my face while I snuff the sidle of evening,
(Talk honestly, no one else hears you, and I stay only a minute longer.)
Do I contradict myself?
Very well then I contradict myself,
(I am large, I contain multitudes.)
I concentrate toward them that are nigh, I wait on the door-slab.
Who has done his day's work? who will soonest be through with his supper?
Who wishes to walk with me?
Will you speak before I am gone? will you prove already too late?
adam, i'm loving this description of you, like i can definitely see what you're saying, and i can also definitely picture you saying this. i like the fact that you're real and not fake, like if someone is looking messed up you'll say it not just keep it in, and i can see that aspect of you in this paragraph. i also admire the fact that you dont care about what other people think, if you felt like wearing some cut up dirty jeans you would wear them and pay no mind to what others thought about it or you. but yeah keep staying tru to only u, and yeah!
Laura
oh yah, i'm also lovin the poem you did in your response!
When I was reading the poem that you wrote I could most of that aspects in you. You need to understand that with this new information that you have provided for the whole class gives us a better chance of understanding who Adam really is. For me, I like to keep things to myself and never reveal it to anyone. But you and I have used the blog as a way to show the public who we really are. So whenever other people read your poem they get a sense of you and see you different than they did before they readyour poem. My final comment would be that you did a great job on this poem.
